Who are we? Just two besties—Vania and Martine—who basically function like an old married couple (minus the arguing over thermostat settings). Vania’s the short one who can usually be found glued to Instagram, passionately reviewing her latest Netflix obsession. Martine’s the tall, wise one with a love for travel, her two adorable dogs, and marveling at the weird and wonderful things life throws our way. We met over 10 years ago, clicked instantly, and have been photographing love stories together ever since. With 30 years of combined wedding photography experience, we’ve seen it all—happy tears, wild dance floors, and that one uncle who always ends up doing the worm. We’re here for the real, the romantic, and the ridiculously sweet moments. That’s the heart behind Love & Story.

What's your style?

Every wedding we shoot is unique and why we give you the option to tailor the editing. It could be that your style is a little lighter and brighter and a good fit for our Romance style. Or maybe you like classic and bold colors, like our Signature style. Feeling moodier and looking for earthier tones? Our Cinematic style is a good fit. Based on our 2 decades of experience with editing, we can come up with a style that’s custom and perfect for your wedding.

Martine and Vania were absolutely INCREDIBLE. They were such a calming force the day of our wedding, and we had so much fun with them! One of our favorite parts of the night was when they stole us away to take some fun nighttime shots outside of the reception, and we all just goofed off and took beautiful, natural pictures. We just got our album back, and we could not be happier with the quality of our wedding photos. The natural, but still glam, look that Martine and Vania achieve is so much fun, and I can't wait to print these out and have them all over our home.

Choosing Love & Story for my wedding photography was one of the best decisions I've ever made. They made the whole process so easy. Once I found out they were available to shoot my wedding, we met in a coffee shop to discuss my vision further. Vania and Martine are incredibly friendly and helped me figure out which package would be best. Since I had a <20 person wedding, we decided a single photographer would be best. After the meeting, they were very responsive to any questions I had via email. Our photographer was Vania, and she made my husband and me feel so comfortable in front of the camera (and we're normally very camera shy!). She was punctual to both the engagement shoot and wedding. The pictures are all amazing - we got a nice mix of posed and candid shots, and they all look so natural. They were also edited beautifully. My hair color doesn't always show up great in photos, but they really made it pop. They also got the pictures to me super quick. I think it was less than a week after each shot that I received an email with a link to the gallery. My friends and family have been raving about the pictures ever since we got them. Thank you Love & Story for giving me wedding photos I can cherish for the rest of my life!

Martine always makes us feel so comfortable in front of the camera!! She always goes the extra mile to seek out the sun, and always gives us photos with the most beautiful lighting. (Which is really saying something since we had a rainy wedding!) I can tell she really is putting thought into each shot. She really impressed me by even keeping an eye on the weather radar, so we could get some photos outside when it cleared up! She was just very on top of everything! Her turn around time for providing photos is also so so impressive. Our engagement photos we got back way sooner than I had expected, and the same goes for our wedding sneak peek! I also got on Instagram the morning after our wedding and she had already posted a couple of sneak peek photos, and their story had some BTS of my venue which was so fun to look at the day after. We will definitely be keeping her on the top of our list for any photos in the future. 🙂
