You’ve planned, prepped, said your vows, taken all the formals, now it’s time to party. And we love to be in the action, capturing every moment.
The Room Before the Doors Open
Monogrammed chairs at your sweetheart table. Candles lit down a long table nobody’s touched yet. If there’s a balcony we’ll go up and shoot the whole hall from above — at Fernbank that meant a dinosaur skeleton hanging over the dance floor. Ten minutes later it’s full of people, so we photograph it while it’s exactly how you planned it, the same way we handle your details in the morning.
The First Dance
Under chandeliers with everyone watching from their tables. Cheek to cheek in black and white. Her skirt flaring as they spin. This is the first time all day you’ll have a few minutes alone in a room full of people, and it photographs beautifully because neither of you is thinking about us.
Cake, Toasts, and the Speeches
The cake cut badly and both of you laughing about it. A champagne toast. The speech where your best friend goes slightly too far. We’re watching the room during these, not just the podium — the reactions are usually better than the speech.
The Dance Floor
Where the night actually happens. Drummers playing while you dance. Guests in inflatable dinosaur costumes. The floor full and nobody sober enough to be self-conscious. We stay in it rather than shooting from the edge, which is why these look like being there rather than watching.
The Send-Off
Our favorite ten minutes of the whole day. Sparkler fountains, a kiss in the middle of a cloud of bubbles, red streamers waving overhead, a dip kiss beside a helicopter, the Georgia Tech Ramblin’ Wreck pulling away with you in it. One Thing to Tell Us
Whatever you’re planning for the exit, let us know beforehand. Sparklers, bubbles and vehicles all need us in position before you walk out, and some need a completely different camera setup. Two minutes of warning is the difference between a photograph and a blur — and the same goes for any surprise you have planned during the night.
