“A little nature and a covered bridge always deliver!”
Check out Madison + Shayne’s engagement session in Roswell! We met them in the morning and walked all over, from Roswell Square to the covered bridge and down along Vickery Creek. Roswell Mill is one of our favorite places to shoot, and these two made it easy.
Around Roswell Square
We started out on Roswell Square with Madison in a flowy blue sundress. There was a lot of laughing, a lot of twirling and one very good lift.
The Covered Bridge
Then it was on to the covered bridge over Vickery Creek. It’s one of our favorite spots in all of Roswell, and the light through the sides of the bridge is just perfect.
Down by the Creek
Down below the bridge, the creek runs over big flat rocks and little waterfalls. We found a few spots on the rocks for Madison + Shayne to sit and just be together.
A Quick Change
For their second look Madison changed into a white lace dress, and we found some black barn doors by the mill before heading back down to the water for a few more.
Planning a Session at Roswell Mill
One thing to know if you’re planning your own session here: the main area in front of the falls is now off limits, so those last few photos are from before it closed. There are still spots along the creek you can get to, and the covered bridge and the mill are as pretty as ever.
