Window Light

Our favorite light is usually the light that’s already in the room. A tall arched window, a glass wall looking out at the mountains, a hotel room with the whole city behind you — soft and flattering, with nothing added and no flash. If you’re nervous about being photographed, this is usually where you relax, because it’s quiet and it’s just us for a few minutes.

Your Dress and Your Veil

The gown you spent months choosing deserves more than one frame. We’ll photograph you full length so you can actually see it, then closer for the beadwork, the lace, the buttons down the back. A cathedral veil is worth planning for — spread out behind you it’s one of the most dramatic photos of the whole day. Those same few minutes give us the details you worked so hard on.

Wherever You’re Getting Married

Every venue gives us something different, and we love working out what that is. Spanish moss and live oaks in Savannah. A pond and a wide-brim hat in the North Georgia mountains. The skyline from twenty-eight floors up in Midtown. Whether you’re marrying in a venue we know well or somewhere brand new to us, we’ll find the spot that looks like you.

A Bridal Session of Your Own

Want your portraits without the wedding-day clock running? A separate bridal session gives you an unhurried hour in your gown, and it’s honestly one of our favorite things to shoot. No timeline, no guests waiting, just room to try things — and you get to wear the dress twice.

On Film

Some of our favorite bridal portraits are shot on 35mm. There’s a softness to film that digital doesn’t quite replicate, and it slows everything down in the best way. You can see more of this on our film photography page.

When These Happen

Bridal portraits usually come together right after getting ready, before anyone else sees you. A first look opens up more time, and the rest follow naturally — your wedding party, then the two of you before the ceremony starts.
