“Some weddings are pretty. This one was pure joy from beginning to end.”
Tucked into the ridgelines of North Georgia, The Venue at Sharp Mountain has a way of making everything feel bigger — the mountains behind the glass walls, the laughter echoing off the cathedral ceilings, the love that fills the room. Anna and Hank’s wedding was exactly that: expansive. A day that moved effortlessly from tender getting-ready moments to a reception that had every single guest on their feet with a cowboy hat and a glow stick by the end of the night.
It was the kind of wedding we live for — deeply personal, visually stunning, and absolutely lovely.

Before the Vows
Anna spent her morning surrounded by her six bridesmaids — a vision of powder blue and genuine happiness — in a room that looked straight out onto the Georgia mountains. When the girls saw her in her gown for the first time, the reaction from her girls said everything a caption never could. That mix of happy tears and can’t-catch-your-breath laughter? We caught it all.
Hank, meanwhile, was every bit the cool, collected groom — right up until the moment he saw her during their own first look.

The Ceremony Space

They Said Yes in the Mountains
The ceremony space was breathtaking. Cascading greenery hung from the timber ceiling, fresh floral clusters lined the aisle, and the wooden cross at the altar was draped in the most lush arrangement of coral peonies and garden roses. Behind it all: an uninterrupted panorama of North Georgia forest under an overcast sky that somehow made the whole room glow softer.
Anna walked toward Hank as the room held its breath. He didn’t look away once.

Golden Hour & Georgia Sky
Between the ceremony and the reception, we slipped outside with Anna and Hank for portraits. The grounds of Sharp Mountain are genuinely spectacular: rolling lawns edged by tall Georgia pines, stone walls, and those dramatic timber-framed windows reflecting the shifting clouds.
Anna’s cathedral veil was made for this place. Every gust of wind turned it into something cinematic — billowing out across the lawn in the golden light, wrapping softly around them in close moments, catching the sky. We could have stayed out there for hours.

A Reception to Remember
By the time the reception began, the same hall that held a hushed ceremony was transformed — warm amber light, long farm tables, and centerpieces overflowing with peach garden roses and coral blooms against powder blue linens. The first dance was tender and cinematic, the two of them small against those giant windows, the mountains fading to dusk behind them.
And then? The party absolutely took off.

Off Into Forever
Anna changed into a dazzling sequined dress for the exit, and they made their grand finale through a tunnel of cold sparks, hands raised, smiling so hard it made everyone around them smile too. Then they hopped into a convertible — top down, in the rain — and drove off into the Georgia night. Honestly? Could not have scripted it better.
Anna and Hank, it was the greatest honor to be there for every single second of your day. Thank you for trusting us with it. Wishing you a lifetime of lighted cowboy hats, mountain views, and dancing.
